By accessing or using our website www.orbictus.com, purchasing or participating in our online courses, or creating an account (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and any other referenced documents.
By completing a purchase or creating an account through the checkout process, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Global Access

3. Account Creation and Responsibility
3.1 To access purchased courses and track progress, you must register a personal account.
3.2 You agree to provide accurate, current information and maintain the security of your login credentials.
3.3 You are fully responsible for all activities under your account. Sharing, reselling, or transferring access is prohibited.
3.4 Orbictus reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of misuse, fraudulent activity, or breach of these Terms.
4. Payments and Pricing
4.1 All payments are securely processed through Stripe or other approved payment providers.
4.2 Prices are displayed in EUR and may be automatically converted by Stripe based on your location. Taxes, duties, or transaction fees may apply depending on your jurisdiction.
4.3 You authorize Orbictus (or its payment partner) to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees.
4.4 Orbictus may adjust prices, discounts, or promotions at any time, but changes do not affect previously completed transactions.
5. Early Access and Course Availability
5.1 Some courses may be offered under an Early Access model, allowing you to purchase at a reduced price while content is being released progressively.
5.2 You gain immediate access to all available chapters, and future updates will be automatically included at no extra charge.
5.3 Release schedules are estimates; Orbictus reserves the right to modify or extend timelines to maintain educational quality.
5.4 Upon full release, course prices may increase for new customers.
6. Refund and Money-Back Guarantee
6.1 Payments on this website are processed by Stripe Inc. and by placing an order you consent to us transmitting your payment and transaction data as needed to Stripe for the processing and settlement of your payment. We are a merchant using the Squarespace platform for website hosting and course delivery; you are responsible for ensuring your payment method is valid and for any fees your bank may charge.
6.2 We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee (refund) from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied, contact us at info@orbictus.com with your order details.
6.3 Refunds may be declined if you have accessed or completed a significant portion of the course or after the refund window expires.
6.4 Refunds are issued via the same payment method, and processing times depend on your financial institution.
6.5 For users within the EU/EEA, this policy complies with consumer protection regulations (Directive 2011/83/EU).
7. Course Access and Lifetime Use
7.1 When you purchase a course, you receive lifetime access to the course materials, including all future updates, as long as the platform remains operational. “Lifetime access” refers to access for the operational lifetime of the platform and does not guarantee perpetual availability of specific content, features, or technical formats.
7.2 Lifetime access is conditional upon compliance with these Terms and may be revoked if the account is misused or used for unauthorized sharing.
7.3 Orbictus reserves the right to modify or discontinue Services due to technical, legal, or business reasons. In such cases, reasonable access alternatives or refunds may be provided.
8. Certificates of Completion
8.1 Upon completing a course, you may receive a digital certificate of completion if available.
8.2 Unless explicitly stated, certificates are not formal academic qualifications and may not be recognized by licensing or regulatory bodies.
8.3 Orbictus aims to introduce accredited certificates in partnership with institutions; details will be published when available.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All course materials, videos, graphics, logos, and written content are the intellectual property of Orbictus or its licensors.
9.2 You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access content for personal, non-commercial educational use only.
9.3 You may not copy, record, modify, distribute, or publicly share any course content without written permission.
9.4 All trademarks, service marks, and logos appearing on the website remain property of their respective owners.
10. AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content
10.1 Some educational materials, visual content, or text provided through the Orbictus platform may be created or enhanced using Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) tools under human supervision. All AI-generated outputs are reviewed and curated by qualified veterinary professionals before publication to ensure factual and educational accuracy.
10.2 While we make every reasonable effort to verify AI-assisted content, such materials may occasionally contain factual or contextual inaccuracies. AI content is intended for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary, medical, or legal advice.
10.3 All AI-generated or AI-enhanced content published on our platform is the intellectual property of Orbictus or its licensors. Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use this content for learning purposes only. Reproduction or distribution of AI-generated content is prohibited without prior written consent.
10.4 If you submit feedback, prompts, questions, or other input that results in AI-generated responses, you grant Orbictus a worldwide, royalty-free, and perpetual license to use such input and corresponding AI outputs for platform improvement, research, and quality assurance purposes.
10.5 Users acknowledge that AI-assisted content may contain limitations or inaccuracies and must not be relied upon as a sole basis for clinical or professional decision-making.
11. User Conduct
11.1 You agree not to:
Violate any laws or regulations;
Post or transmit harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing material;
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or manipulate the platform;
Misuse discounts or impersonate another person or entity.
Violation of these rules may lead to suspension or permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of any fees paid.
12. Global Compliance and Data Handling
12.1 Orbictus operates globally and processes user data in compliance with the EU GDPR and other applicable privacy frameworks.
12.2 Data may be processed in the EU or other countries offering adequate protection.
12.3 For users in California, the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) rights apply.
13. Disclaimers
13.1 The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
13.2 Orbictus makes no guarantees about specific learning outcomes, job placement, or certification recognition.
13.3 User assumes responsibility for viewing graphic content. Some Orbictus courses include surgical procedures, blood, and other medical content that may be disturbing to some viewers. By continuing to access the content, you acknowledge that you understand its nature, voluntarily choose to view it, and accept responsibility for viewing potentially sensitive medical material.
13.4 While instructors are qualified veterinarians, all content provided through the Orbictus platform is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Non-veterinarians must not use the information provided to diagnose, treat, or manage any animal health condition. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any medical concerns or clinical decisions.
13.5 Orbictus is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from application of knowledge obtained through the platform.
13.6 Content provided through the Orbictus platform does not replace professional judgment, clinical supervision, or compliance with local laws, licensing requirements, or professional regulations. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the content complies with applicable veterinary regulations in their jurisdiction.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Orbictus, its directors, officers, employees, instructors, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to the use of the Services or course content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
14.2 Orbictus shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims resulting from reliance on educational content, misuse of information, failure to comply with local laws or professional regulations, or improper application of knowledge obtained through the Services.
14.3 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Orbictus’s total cumulative liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user to Orbictus during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
14.4 Class Action Waiver. To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree that any claims, disputes, or legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought on an individual basis only and not as part of any class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
14.5 Nothing in this Section shall limit or exclude liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rights.
15. Termination
15.1 Orbictus may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you violate these Terms or applicable law.
15.2 You may terminate your account anytime by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to refunds beyond the stated policy.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, with consideration of EU consumer protection laws for EU residents and applicable international frameworks for global users.
16.2 Any dispute shall first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.
16.3 If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Brno, Czech Republic, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law in your country.
17. Updates to Terms
17.1 Orbictus may modify these Terms at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
17.2 Updated Terms will be published on www.orbictus.com with a revised date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the changes.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent court, such provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
