Meet our veterinary professionals at Orbictus
Dr. Michal Kyllar-Eriksen
Dr. Michal Kyllar-Eriksen is a third-generation veterinary surgeon with over two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, veterinary education, and professional mentorship. His work has taken him across Europe and the Americas, within both university environments and progressive private practices. This background has shaped an approach that balances academic depth with practical, real-world clinical decision-making — ensuring veterinary knowledge remains applicable at the point of care.
His long-standing commitment to strengthening primary veterinary care, combined with his academic and clinical work, led to his appointment as a university professor. Alongside his academic role, he has worked as a senior clinician and founded several veterinary clinics, giving him a rare perspective that bridges theory with everyday clinical practice.
A central focus of his work is building strong foundations in primary care. Michal believes that mastering essential clinical skills, sound reasoning, and clear communication is key to long-term professional development — whether in general practice or further specialization. He remains closely involved in real clinical cases, ensuring his teaching stays practical, relevant, and grounded in daily veterinary work.
